i have a goat

So Coco, since we are arranging marriages and all(see last post), perhaps we can negotiate over Bre--I have a goat I can bring to the bargaining table. I actually got this goat as a wedding gift. John's parents were missionaries in Kenya for 10 years and I did not even get to meet them til a week or so before we got hitched. Some of their African friends sent us a card and a picture of the goat they were giving us--it was a customary wedding gift. I wonder how my goat is doing. Another interesting wedding gift we got was a fire extinguisher, from one of John's friends. Did anyone else get any interesting gifts that were not on your registry? There is a New York saying that my Grandma Selma always sings to us "Don't bring the presents, bring the cash". I rather like my fun gifts though.

  4. Hilarious! I personally think Tess should be thrown a bone here and have a chance at one of your boys since like half the kids her age will be her cousins.

  5. I'm a bit jealous. That's a great goat. Mine isn't near as nice.

(kidding, I DON'T have a goat. But I love that you do!)

  6. So how does this whole goat thing work? It's yours, but they take care of it? Kind of like how you own Olive's tail, but it lives with Mom and Lindsay?

  7. I still have been trying to get Davi to trade Olive's tail for her nails so she is responsible for getting them clipped. That tail is pretty low maintenance.

  8. Yah, Davi's pretty smart. She's got a good thing going...all these pets and no responsibility.

Tacy'll take the toenails for you if you're giving them away. As long as you don't mind them being covered in glitter nailpolish!
