Finn through the Years

Here is "Finn through the years", for his birthday. Ok, so I'm a little late, but I figure this way I can extend his birthday celebration through the whole month of June. And now that I look at these pictures, it seems more like "hats through the years". I was a bit obsessed with hats in Finn's early years, which seems funny to me now, because he rarely wears them anymore. What can I say? He was my new little Finny-doll!

***notice his tiny cast? Finn broke his arm when he was just 19 months old when he randomly fell off the couch. This was a turning point in our mother-son career, as I turned into a freakishly paranoid helicopter mom. It took the births of both Calvin and Ollie to mellow me out a bit:)

When Finn was a tiny baby, my niece Hannah asked me "aren't you so curious what Finn will turn out like in a few years?"

I would have never guessed in a million years that my Finn-boy would be a drummer child. Finn, I was the happiest girl in the world the day you were born. You continue to bring me joy each and every day. I love you!

    Ohh, I remember each and every one of those precious beanies! The stripey Babystyle one is still my favorite. Tacy's hat collection was quite extensive as well. Must be a first child thing? None of my other girls wore them and I never see them on your littler boys either.

    Oh, and Finny's poor little broken wing! This is the first time I've seen his cast. It's the tiniest little thing ever!

    Cute Finny post. But now you get to do another because Laina tagged him with a meme/bleme. heeheehee. Have fun!

    Isn't it fun to look back and also sad? It goes TOOO fast. (Sorry about the depressing post. Josh is going to be 1 in a few weeks and I just can't believe it!)

    Ok this little man is just DESTINED to be fashionable. It's so fun to see his sweet face change and develop into a 5 year olds, AND...see what I mean?! You look GREAT after delivery!!!

    megan, i looked awful in this picture! my eyes were so swollen and puffy from 3 hours of pushing and then all the zadzillion fluids they pumped me with for the c-section. i went in looking fine and came out looking so bad my mom could hardly beleive it. but thanks for the compliment. you are too sweet.

    and jessica, I did not know Laina had a blog now. i must find it!
