ok girls.

Remember these anthropologie shoes I liked? Sorry for the small-ish picture, but that's all I can muster right now.

I found these knock-offs yesterday for a mere fraction of the price.
(Keep in mind I am NOT a shoe model)

Yay or Nay??

What do you think? I am honestly not quite sure. The cute little high school fashionistas at my church said I must keep them.

But, I am a bit of a shoes minimalist, so if they are not cute enough, I will most certainly give them the boot.

Would I have bought them if I hadn't have seen the other ones first? I don't know. Knock-offs can be tricky like that-they cloud your judgement.

So that's where you come in. I need some unbiased opinions. I won't be offended. I have not worn them yet, so they can go back. I'm kind of leaning toward "no".....

  2. No offense but I like them WAY better than the first pair. I love shoes that are so stinking cute even though they are incredibly simple...just makes you want to stare at them! Totally cute...I love the blunt toe look....love the color.....love your feet....j/k....need I say more? Of course, all this from someone that is INCREDIBLY fashion challenged...maybe you should completely disregard this whole comment.

  3. Ok, I LOVE the knock offs...way more than the real deal. So, how much were they?? How much were the real ones?

  4. ya'll are so funny--the anthro ones were prolly $185(i was never gonna fork over that kind of dough)and the Target ones were $22.99. Quite the gap in price, eh?

  5. I agree. They are way cuter than the anthro ones. At least in the pictures. I love the red piping. I would totally keep them...if they are somewhat comfy and you would wear them. If not, they aren't worth $23.

  6. I guess red accents would be a better way to put it.

  8. Kiley, you are too sweet! Ever since my fashion consultant moved to Mexico I've been struggling to shop! Not that I was much better before. I hate feeling like an old lady! =0) I'm glad to see that others liked them too...maybe I'm not totally out of touch.

D- Why isn't Jess posting? Is she doing okay?

  14. It must be kind of a reddish brown. That or the color on my computer is screwed up. Brown is more practical anyway...

  19. Man, I don't think I've worn heels since I've become a Mom. = ) But I'm impressed you're willing to- I LOVE them. They'd be cute with tights in the winter too!

  20. I know heels tend to make your shins hurt, but as long as you are willing to wear them and they are comfy, I think they are so cute and you must keep them! I want them myself!

  21. Thanks for all your input! You are all the best!

and Lin--my shins don't hurt from heels anymore. that was only when i wasn't taking enough calcium when i was feeding calvin around the the clock when he was a baby:)
